The figures come out/ 38% more foreign tourists in May

About 974 thousand foreign tourists have visited Albania during the month of May 2024, bringing the total number of incoming tourist flows to more than 3.3 million in the first five months of the year in our country.

The Minister of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, made the figures public today, emphasizing that with the approach of the peak of the coastal tourist season, the institutional responsibility and attention to present the best of the Albanian tourist offer under the slogan "Albania All Senses" increases.

"38% more foreign tourists than a year ago visited us during the month of May, bringing to 3.3 million the number of tourists we have received these five months, and as the peak of the coastal tourist season approaches, we strengthen all the institutional attention and the spirit of hospitality to present the best of #AlbaniaAllSenses", says the minister.

Kumbaro is continuing the tour of inspections in coastal municipalities in order to monitor the fulfillment and respect of standards, cleanliness, public spaces and safety in tourism.
