The father of the 31-year-old receptionist with the initials EN, who was shot dead in a hotel in Dhërmi, has given details about his son's past.

In an interview for "Euronews Albania", the young man's father stated that the boy had no prior acquaintance with the perpetrator of the crime, the 43-year-old with the initials G.Sh. 

The father emphasized during the interview that his son had no criminal record, but added that only a security measure of "obligation to appear" was imposed on him after he was caught with 2 grams of hashish.

He says that the serious incident may have happened due to a momentary conflict, since according to him, the boy may have asked the owner for the money for the days he worked in the latter's business.

How many days did the boy work at this hotel?

- It's been a month since he went to Dhërmi, he was going to work in another bar. He had not gotten ready and had gone to this hotel to look for work. It's been a week.

Who suggested this hotel?

- Nobody. He was looking for a job himself. As a barista. That in front of him was the grass. The author's mother-in-law is the owner of the hotel and had asked for him at the reception. She had begged the boy that he knew 3 foreign languages, had asked him for 1.5 million old ALL and they had agreed. He started work 5 days ago.

Who informed you about the murder of the boy?

-From the TV, that's where we found out.

What about the other two sons of Korça, did the boy know each other?

- No, he didn't know them at all. I know that there are only two friends, they were other boys.

Has the boy previously been convicted of something? Have you had problems with the law?

- The boy had an obligation to appear, he was caught with two grams of hashish before.

Why do you think this might have come about?

- I think it's a momentary conflict, maybe he didn't like the job, the boy will have asked for the money and he won't give it to him. 99% I think so.

Your son wasn't conflicted? No problems before?

- The boy has always been calm and logical. Never had problems with people.

What was the boy doing?

- He was a waiter, a banker.
