The former director of the Administration of Protected Areas in Lezha, Pjeter Toni, and 3 former officials of this institution have been charged by the prosecution of Lezha.

It is learned that they have been sent for trial, criminal proceeding no. 388 of 2022 regarding "damage to the Protected Area of ??Kune - Vaini, specifically in the place called 'Matkeqë Estuary'".

The request of the Lezha prosecutor's office:

Sending for trial the criminal proceeding no. 388 of 2022 for:

1. Peter Toni, accused of the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", provided by article 248 and 25 of the Criminal Code;

2. Pashk Noka, accused of the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", provided by article 248 and 25 of the Penal Code;

3. Armando Lleshaj, accused of the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", provided by article 248 and 25 of the Penal Code;

4. Tom Gjelaj, accused of the criminal offense of "Abuse of duty", provided by article 248 and 25 of the Penal Code. /CNA
