Mirela Bogdani is elected president of the KLP. 

She was able to get 10 votes in favor at today's meeting of the High Council of Prosecution. 

Bogdani took this important position, after Vetting dismissed Alfred Balla from the system. 

The mandate of the former head of the KLP, Alfred Balla, had ended a few months ago, but he continued to remain in office until the new members were elected, from the ranks of civil society.

The Independent Appellate Panel stated that Balla had resigned of his own accord from the 3-fold "vetting" control contrary to his claim that he insists that he did not have the status of a magistrate as long as he was dismissed from his position as a legal assistant in the Court High and then in the KLP received a mandate as a member of civil society.

The case of the chairman of the KLP was closed at the first level of "vetting" without a final decision, and for this reason the Public Commissioner appealed to the KPA.

After the dismissal from the College, through a letter, Balla addressed the KLP, listing several reasons why he should not be expelled, and among other things, he declared that he would take the case to the Strasbourg Court./ CNA
