National religious ceremonies/ Religious communities give ratings for live

The last weekend of March was special, as it coincided with two important moments for the two Albanian religious communities.

Muslims closed the month of sacrifice, that of Ramadan, and celebrated the holiday of Eid al-Fitr.

The month of March was equally important for the Albanian Orthodox, with the election of Archbishop Joan, who succeeds the late Anastas Janullatos.

Albanian media provided Albanian-speaking audiences around the world with these events live in marathon broadcasts with direct links and dedicated materials.
