The businessman Gent Sula, one of the well-known personalities, who with his companies had strong relations with the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj, was summoned today to SPAK.

According to the data provided by CNA, the businessman was interrogated in relation to the assets of the mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj and his wife and other family members, who turned out to have received properties, transactions and actions already documented by SPAK between Gent Sula and Erion Veliajt.

SPAK has also been able to secure several construction permits and tenders won by this businessman and his companies in the municipality of Tirana.

Fake news are circulating in some media that the businessman was summoned because of the investigations against Monika Kryemadhi and Ilir Meta.

CNA has been able to provide good confirmed data that Gent Sula was not in SPAK either on account of Kryemadhi or Meta, but was called and asked about the transactions with the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

Any other published information is a lie served by the Mayor of Tirana.
