They wreaked havoc with call-center scams/ 8 people were arrested, over 13,000

8 people were arrested during the "World Clock" police action for fraud through Call Centers in Tirana and Gjirokastër.

The investigation showed that the eight arrested with initials: ES, 32 years old, EP, 28 years old, MS, 29 years old, EH, 23 years old, AH, SB, 35 years old, FH, 27 years old and EM, 26 years old, were cleaning income obtained from fraud, through their own businesses and those of their relatives.

Both economic entities, the "call center" and 75 employees found in them, turned out to be unregistered with the tax authorities.

During the action, the police seized 13,500 euros in both call centers, a luxury vehicle, manufactured in recent years, 75 laptops, 25 computers, 35 mobile phones, 2 servers, 2 DVRs and several notepads, with the names of defrauded citizens.

The criminal offenses of "Computer fraud", "Illegal employment" and "Cleaning of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity" are heavy on them./ CNA
