The head of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, was summoned on Wednesday morning to the Special Prosecutor's Office for the ÇEZ-DIA affair. Kastriot Ismaliaj has been convicted for this case so far. 

Klodiana Lala reports that Meta is being questioned by the prosecutors of the Special Prosecution as a declarant.

Before joining SPAK, in a short statement to the media, Meta described the ÇEZ-DIA affair as a previously judged soap opera. 

The head of the PL attacked the lawyer Romeo Kara, who filed the report about the affair.

He stated that this case was reopened due to a false accuser who has been convicted twice by the court for defamation and domestic violence.

"For the telenovela CEZ-DIA. Since you were notified early and you are also coping with the rain. It is a telenovela, which has been tried a couple of times, and it was reopened for the specific case in December 2019 by a false accuser who was convicted twice by the court for defamation and for domestic violence.
