Academician Artan Fuga spoke about the Rama-Meloni agreement for immigrants.

According to the academician, Albania may have obligations to many other European countries and as a result would turn into a camp country.

But Fuga further says that there is no agreement without interest, but raises the question, given that Italy is a richer country than us, why does it not hold this camp itself.

"An agreement based purely on gratitude makes legal sense. I am not a specialist in history, but as far as I know, this seems to me a bit of a legitimization which is outside of politics and comes from a culture which is projected by people's relations with each other.

Undoubtedly, there are people from both sides of the shores of the Adriatic who have gratitude for each other, but moral obligation and agreement between states is another thing. As a small nation with a long history, we may have many obligations. To Greece, Germany, many, many peoples. This does not mean out of gratitude, if this is the case we have to build dozens of camps and it falls to us to release the land.

There is no interest-free agreement. This raises questions for me. Why doesn't Italy hold this camp itself? They are a powerful and rich country, with a much higher level than us", said Fuga. / CNA
