The Port Authority of Durrës has announced today that the sailing scheduled for today from Durrës to Ancona has been canceled due to an accident suffered by the ferry "AF MARINA".

In the announcement, it is said that "passengers are being notified about the change of travel, and can choose as they wish.

Announcement of the Durrës Port Authority:

We inform all passengers who have booked their cruise from the Port of Durrës to Ancona (Italy) this afternoon that this cruise will NOT be carried out due to an accident suffered by the ferry "AF MARINA" (in Ancona).

The repair of the defect was made possible this morning and therefore the departure from Ancona was delayed by several hours.
"Adria Ferries" company has decided that today's departure from Durrës to Ancona, at 17.00, will be canceled and the 483 passengers with 146 cars will leave for Bari with the "AF Marina" ferry.

"Adria Ferries" company has activated the procedure for assistance to passengers according to the EU 1177 standard.

Passengers are being notified of the change of journey, and can choose as they wish:
- To travel today to Bari at 01.00 and at the time of check-in, they will be reimbursed the difference in the fare resulting from the change of destination,
– The tickets are automatically postponed for another day,
– They receive 100% of the ticket value (if they do not travel).
