Today at 11:00 a.m. the hearing will take place in the court of Elbasan for the two Russian citizens and one Ukrainian who tried to enter the military base in Gramsh.

It is about the 25-year-old Ukrainian citizen identified as Fedir Aplatov and the two Russian citizens Svetlana Timofoeva, 33 years old, and Mikhail Zorin, 24 years old.

They were escorted by the police on the evening of August 20 as they tried to enter the former arms factory in Gramsh.

Rusi Zorin clashed with the soldiers guarding the facility who did not allow him to enter the plant, also attacking them with a nerve-paralyzing spray.

In their testimony to the police after their arrest, they said they were bloggers and mostly photographed military territories that were abandoned and no longer used by the state.

But two days after the incident, charges of espionage were officially raised against the 3 citizens.

The charges that weigh on them are "Giving secret information" and "Providing information".

They will also be tried for the damage they caused to the soldiers by means of a nerve-paralyzing spray. /CNA.al
