Today, the director of the AKU in Shkodra, Gjekë Sokoli, who was wanted by the police, as part of the "Illegality" operation, surrendered to the police.

The Blues inform that after the statements given, Sokol has been released.

Meanwhile, the latter in a statement to the media encouraged the investigation of the justice authorities.

"I have been informed that I am wanted by the police. I am currently on duty. I went to the police this Tuesday morning where I gave all the necessary explanations. I have never broken the law. I would like to inform you that we have developed a monitoring in the framework of Avian Flu and it turned out that there is no active NIPT. I encourage the structures to perform the necessary procedural actions", emphasized the director of AKU./ BA - CNA.al
