At the event for the 35th anniversary of the Socialist Party in Tirana, Prime Minister Edi Rama focused on the contribution of the party's internal structures, particularly appreciating the role of the so-called patronage players.

Rama stated that former Speaker of the Parliament Gramoz Ruçi represents, according to him, a symbolic figure of grassroots political engagement, describing him as the "chief patron" of the Socialist Party.

He added that the work of patronage workers is an important element of the organization of the Socialist Party and, according to him, one of the reasons for its electoral success.

"Gramoz Ruçi is the chief patron of the Socialist Party."

I know that this will confuse the opposition again, but from Gramoz I want to move on to those who no one mentioned but who are the basic reason for our successes, the patronage supporters of the Socialist Party.

Patronageists are those who do what Gramozi does to the entire socialist family.
