Events in Zvërnec/ Another protest takes place in front of the Prime Minister's Office

Today, the third consecutive protest against construction in Zvërnec is taking place in front of the Prime Minister's Office.

The protests were called after the events that occurred on May 30 in Zvërnec, where there were clashes between citizens and employees of a private security company.

Regarding this issue, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the events that occurred there were serious, while condemning the violence against the protesters.

Among other things, Rama emphasized that such large investments are for the good of the country and increase the Gross National Product.

Meanwhile, today, in a reaction addressing the protesters, he said he is ready to sit down with them for talks anywhere and anytime. /CNA
