DP leader Sali Berisha has reacted to Ilir Meta's request to be called to testify in the January 21 case.

While speaking about the event, Berisha said in a press conference that the scriptwriter was Prime Minister Edi Rama.

"First of all, it is universally known that Edi Rama, in order to organize January 21, manipulated and collaborated with Filip Çakulli a recording obtained from the late Dritan Prifti according to which Ilir Meta was paid 700 thousand euros by a businessman who was demanding his rights. Sali Berisha, as prime minister, was asked by Dritan Prifti to appoint him to another important position or else there is a recording. My word was, get out as soon as you leave my office door.

Çakulli and Rama copy-paste sentences 28 times in the video and make it seem as if Ilir Meta said that we received 700 thousand euros. I think that whoever investigates this issue is clear that this was part of the scenario of the violence on January 21. The scriptwriter turns out to be Edi Rama himself.
