Jorida Tabaku as a “mercenary” of the Basha-Rama agreement/ "Ball" in the field of SPAK

The corrupt affair of incinerators, which has to do with three concession contracts, 22 million euros in Elbasan, 28 million euros in Fier and 128 million euros in Tirana, is among the most accused, but also the most denounced in media such as BIRN, Voice of America, CNA.al.

In connection with this affair, has already started an investigation by the judiciary. Following an SPAK investigation into the Elbasan incinerator, former Environment Minister Lefter Koka was arrested and imprisoned. The history of incinerators started in 2014, with the coming to power of the Socialist Party, and the opposition of Lulzim Basha has been silent for years.

But now that SPAK has started the investigation, and the media have long denounced it, in the ?game? enter Lulzim with the so-called Parliamentary Inquiry Commission for Incinerators. So while the case was being investigated by the judiciary, Basha set up a parliamentary commission, headed by his confidant Jorida Tabaku, who seems to have successfully fulfilled the mission of Lulzim Basha, to cover up one of the most corrupt affairs of the Rama government.

First, this issue was attempted to be politicized. Second, she conducted an alleged parliamentary inquiry, while the case is already being investigated by the SPAK. And finally the parliamentary inquiry closed with two reports. The deputies of the socialist majority came out with one report, and the deputies of the opposition with another report.

Not to mention Jorida Tabaku?s report, which rather than dwells on concrete facts, deals more with theory. The investigative commission had envisioned the summoning of a long list of witnesses, but closed with the show. The last two witnesses in the commission were the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and the Prime Minister, Edi Rama.

The testimony of the latter revealed even more clearly the ?mission?, which had undertaken Lulzim Basha?s confidant. Both Rama and Veliaj didn?t say anything. They stood for 10 hours in front of the commission doing ?show? and theater, while Tabaku continued her role.

Without further ado on the fact that Tabaku didn?t know how to explain what are 430 million euros, 100 million euros already paid, or 45 million euros earned by incinerator companies due to the high tariff for depositing soil from construction sites.

So the fact is that Jorida Tabaku successfully ?fulfilled? her mission as a mercenary of the Rama-Basha agreement. She made noise, drew attention from the political situation, and in the end the commission came up with 2 reports. But the only hope remains SPAK. This institution has arrested a minister, only for the incinerator of Elbasan. While under investigation are also those of Tirana and Fier./CNA.al
