 Why do we need “villains” in the Democratic Party?

It seems that the situation in the Democratic Party is becoming more and more chaotic. The DP is already divided into at least three groups. First, there is the Group for the Re-establishment of the Democratic Party, the supporters of the Rostrum and former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who seem to be the majority.

This was clearly seen in the March 6 elections. Then there is a small group of MPs and leaders who still support Lulzim Basha. Meanwhile, the third group can be called the group of ?villains?. These are the ones who resigned from leading positions after March 6.

So, after the shameful failure in the local partial elections, where Lulzim Basha?s party not only didn?t win in any of the 6 municipalities, but ended up as a third political force. They are now faced with the fact that democrats don?t love them, do not vote for them, do not support them. So they are playing the ?game? of resignations.

In fact, the group that is resigning today, including Agron Gjekmarkaj, Ervin Salianji, Grida Duma and many other figures, is not resigning from anything. This is because they are all dismissed by the DP Assembly of December 11, 2021.

And today they play the role of ?principled politician? saying that we are resigning. But in fact, everyone is as responsible as Lulzim Basha for the situation where the Democratic Party is today. They are as responsible as Lulzim Basha for disrupting and destroying the DP.

Because they are the ones who have supported every political madness of Lulzim Basha since 2017. They supported the burning of the mandates of the deputies in 2019, the boycott of the local elections of June 30, 2019. They supported Basha in the elections of April 25, 2021. They lost shamefully, and came out again on Basha?s side.

They also supported the decision of September 9, when Lulzim Basha, alone and locked in his office, expelled former Prime Minister Sali Berisha from the DP parliamentary group. They are the same ?villains? who attacked the democrats and the Assembly on December 11.

They are the ones who supported the anti-Assembly of December 18, the next farce of Lulzim Basha.

It is the same individuals who on January 8, 2022 were inside the headquarters armored by Lulzim Basha, attacking the democrats with tear gas and sticks. So those who 24 hours a day, talked about disunity, non-grata, enemies, anti-americans, sludge and filth, and who now appear before the media and demand union. But union with whom? With those beaten on January 8? Why does the DP need these worthless ?villains??/CNA.al
