Return to Serie A? Simone Inzaghi's decision revealed

Simone Inzaghi was one of the most talked-about names to take over at Napoli after Antonio Conte's departure, but the Italian coach has decided not to return to Serie A, at least for the time being.

The coach decided to reject the offer, although according to reports he appreciated the Italian club's interest.

One of the main reasons preventing his return to Europe is related to the contract he currently has in Saudi Arabia.

According to the rules, Inzaghi cannot take charge of another team before July 2027, unless he agrees to pay a significant amount as a fiscal penalty.

It is about 6 million euros that the coach would have to return to the authorities in the event of a premature termination of his experience in Saudi Arabia.
