Sensational absences in England, Tuchel publishes the World Cup list

Thomas Tuchel has released England's final squad for the 2026 World Cup, leaving out several important names in English football.

Among the most notable absences are Cole Palmer, Phil Foden and Trent Alexander-Arnold, who failed to impress last season or were hampered by fitness issues. Harry Maguire, who had previously announced his absence, was also left out.

Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham continues to be considered one of the team's leaders, despite a difficult period at Real Madrid. The list also includes experienced names such as Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Jordan Henderson and Marcus Rashford.

Tuchel has also surprised with the selection of Djed Spence, Jarrell Quansah and Tino Livramento. England will start the World Cup on June 17 against Croatia, before facing Ghana and Panama in Group L.
