National team midfielder with new team, official in Germany

Enis Çokaj is officially a Bochum player, starting a new adventure in the German second Bundesliga. The Albanian national team midfielder has left Panathinaikos after the end of his contract with the Greek club.

Although the deal has already been closed, the transfer with full documentation will take effect on July 1. Çokaj has signed a two-year contract with the German club, valid until the summer of 2028.

The 26-year-old's career began at Vllaznia, and he later played for teams such as Lokomotiva Zagreb, Laçi, Panathinaikos, Osijek and Levadiakos. His performances in the Croatian and Greek championships have given him experience in European football, and now the midfielder will try a new experience in German football.

With the Albanian National Team, Çokaj has 6 appearances, all during the period when Edoardo Reja was on the red and black bench. The midfielder was also called up during Silvinjo's management, but did not manage to play in any official match.
