Conte's departure, Napoli has a new coach ready

Antonio Conte will leave at the end of the season and Napoli have begun work on a new coach.

President Aurelio De Laurentiis has accelerated contacts to close the bench issue as soon as possible.

The first name on the club's list is Maurizio Sarri, who is expected to leave Lazio, although his contract with the capital club until 2028 has yet to be resolved.

Napoli have offered the Tuscan coach a two-year contract worth around 2.5 million euros per season. Atalanta are also in the race for Sarri, pushed by sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli.

In parallel, De Laurentiis is also working on the other alternative, which is Massimiliano Allegri. The current Milan coach is seen as an important profile for the new Napoli project, although his contract with the Rossoneri and his €5 million salary remain the main obstacles.

Napoli aims to close the selection of a coach as soon as possible to start planning for next season.
