Euro 2026 for women/ The U-19 national team starts training on Saturday, coach Kodra invites 20 players

The Albanian U-19 women's national team begins training and preparations for the first round of the 2026 European Championship tomorrow. Albania has been drawn in Group B2 of League B, along with Slovakia, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg.

Coach Daniela Kodra will make her debut on the red and black bench of the under-19s in this tournament. She has gathered 20 players for these important matches, with the major objective of promoting the red and black girls to League A for the first time. The base of the players is mainly from clubs in the Albanian championship, while 9 of them are active in championships abroad.

The red and black group will gather in Durrës. Albania's first match is against Luxembourg, on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the "Egnatia Arena" stadium.

The red and black girls will play the second match against Slovakia on November 28, also at 2:00 PM at the "Egnatia Arena" stadium, while the last match is against Liechtenstein on December 1 at 1:30 PM.

Albania's matches will be broadcast live and free on the FSHF TV channel on the "My Clan" platform.

All matches in Group B4 will be held in Albania, on February 18, 21 and 24. The other matches in this group will be played at the “House of Football”.
