Albania loses two positions in FIFA rankings, Kosovo climbs

FIFA has published the new rankings after the matches of November. Albania has lost two positions and has dropped to 63rd place, as a result of the victory over Andorra and the 2-0 defeat by England.
Kosovo, on the other hand, has gained four places and is ranked 80th, after a victory over Slovenia and a draw with Switzerland.
Both teams have qualified for the 2026 World Cup play-offs. They will be in pot three and are waiting to find out who their opponents are from pot two, with the draw taking place on November 20.
Spain is at the top of the world rankings, followed by Argentina, France and England. Brazil has advanced two places and is ranked fifth.
