Unprecedented in the World Cup / The 15th coach leaves, having only been on the bench for 18 days

French coach Herve Renard has ended his adventure at the helm of the Tunisia national team after only 18 days in charge.

The 57-year-old coach was appointed to lead the team on an interim basis during the World Cup, shortly after Sabri Lamouchi was sacked at the start of the tournament.

During this short period, Renard failed to turn the team's fortunes around, suffering two consecutive losses, first 0-4 against Japan and then 1-3 against the Netherlands.

After these results, Tunisia was eliminated, becoming the only national team to change two coaches during this World Cup.

With this departure, Renard joins the list of 15 coaches who have terminated their cooperation with their respective teams after the end of the tournament.

Other notable names on this list of departures include Germany's Julian Nagelsmann, Portugal's Roberto Martinez and Croatia's Zlatko Dalic.
