The weightlifter, Briken Calja, shone in the World Championship of this sport, which is being held in Phuket, Thailand. The Albanian competed in Battery B, weighing 73 kilograms, where he managed to leave a mark.

Briken Calja is the only weightlifter representing Albania in the World Championship, which is taking place in Thailand. It was planned that Erkand Qerimaj would also participate, but the Shkodra player is absent due to an injury.

The World Cup in Weightlifting is the last qualifying event for the Olympic Games, which will be held in Paris.
