Arsenal inflicts first defeat on Bayern, "embarrassing" Liverpool. Inter "burns" in the end

The fifth round matches in the Champions League have concluded.

Arsenal inflicted Bayern Munich's first defeat of the season.

The Londoners triumphed 3-1 at home, thanks to goals from Timber, Madueke and Martinelli. Karl scored for the Germans. Arsenal are the only team in the lead with full points, 15 of them.

Liverpool suffered another disappointment. The English champions were soundly beaten 4-1 by Dutch side PSV.

Inter Milan suffered their second consecutive defeat, losing 2-1 to Atletico Madrid. Alvarez opened the scoring, but Zielinski equalised early in the second half.

In the end, it was Gimenez who scored the winning goal for the Spaniards.

PSG triumphed 5-3 over Tottenham, while Real Madrid won 4-3 over Greek side Olympiacos.
