All Souls' Day is commemorated/ Solemn Mass at the Rrmaj Cemetery

On Saturday evening, Holy Mass was celebrated at the Rrmaj cemetery in commemoration of all the souls who have passed on to eternity.

During the gospel sermon, Archbishop Giovanni Peragginne said that this night serves to remind each of us that this world is not eternal, but a place in eternity is the greatest wealth.

So let it serve as a guide in our days.

" It is a holy place. Because here rest our parents, brothers and sisters, family and friends. Those who have led us in faith. It is a place of hope. Every grave, every place is a sign that here is someone who lived, who believed. In this place tonight we can say that among the signs of death, the liturgy invites us to celebrate one of the greatest nights, the nights of the saints. It is a celebration that speaks to us of life and hope. It is a night that illuminates us. This celebration reminds us of a truth that gives meaning to life, that we are all creatures of God. And God gives us the meaning that we are creatures for heaven. This is the purpose of this night, that we are not always in this world. The Church invites us to raise our eyes high to see..They are not strangers to us, they are part of our spiritual family. We ask the saints to intercede for us. By celebrating this mass in this place, you are invited to "Let us renew our faith in the living and in the afterlife. Let us renew our faith. Let us see the saints and the dead as older brothers who encourage and guide us in our daily lives, and let us ask God for our lives for sanctification," said Bishop Giovanni Peragginne.

Catholic believers prayed today for their relatives that God would accept them, close to them as they lit candles in their memory.
