"The election of the new leader is of particular importance"/ Begaj:

The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, in a television appearance, spoke about the new heads of SPAK and BKH who are expected to be elected after the end of the mandate of the current ones.

Begaj praised the work of the Special Anti-Corruption Structure, which he said has the highest credibility in the country and has yielded visible results.

The President stated that there are other justice institutions that should do the same job as SPAK.

Regarding the selection of new directors, Begaj said that it has special importance and should be based on merit and professionalism.

The President expressed his conviction that the selection of new leaders will be based on merit.

 

" SPAK has the highest credibility in the country and has provided results that are felt in the country. There are other institutions that should do the same job as SPAK. The selection of new leaders is of particular importance, based on merit, integrity and professionalism. I strongly believe that their selection will be based on merit. The justice reform should be transformed into tangible justice for all, a justice that has regular legal procedure according to EU standards" , the president said./CNA
