Journalist Bledian Koka, invited to the show "Tast Force" on Syri TV, said that the main battle of the DP is to lead the country to early elections.

Further, referring to the opposition's statements that the Constitution is being violated, Koka said that the DP is neither the president nor the army, because when the Constitution is violated, it is the army that takes to the streets. The DP, said Koka, has deputies in Parliament, but cannot defend the Constitution when the majority acts differently.

" The main battle of an opposition party is to lead the country to early elections. The main battle of the DP is to lead the country to early elections. Today, the DP and all political forces have been called into chaos. The DP is not the President of the Republic, nor is the army because in countries that are sensitive when the Constitution is violated, the army takes to the streets.

The DP is none of these; it has its members in Parliament and they exercise their duty constitutionally, but they cannot defend the Constitution when the majority acts differently. The only way to respond is through elections. In Albania, we all know that they are often not elections, but theft. Again, they are the only democratic mechanism that can be used as such; let's also tell the citizens that we are a NATO country, demonstrations to overthrow the regime will not work. We must act only with the mechanisms we have at hand; we cannot invent new mechanisms for change and confrontation with the regime. We will go back to elections, whenever and however they happen ," said Koka./CNA
