The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, has stated that the state budget has included money for the costs of returning the emigrants' ballots.

It has already been ensured that the costs for sending and returning the ballots to Albania will be provided by the state.

"The money we have will change the election code and the service of sending back the ballot paper.

The procedure will be carried out in February. We have had discussions with the operators.

The law has obliged us to first negotiate with international operators and it seems that there is interest from the parties.

In the state budget, money has also been allocated for the return of ballot papers", said Celibashi./ CNA
