Ilir Meta, under the banner of the Freedom Party, launched harsh attacks on the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.

The latter also responded with the same coin.

This pair of "love and hate" that we have seen attacking each other in recent years, we also have them by each other's side, speaking with compliments.

We recall here the year 2017, when Ilir Meta was the Speaker of the Assembly and the head of the LSI, accompanying Erion Veliaj.

In April 2017, Erion Veliaj seemed to be the person within the SP with whom Ilir Meta had best found a common language.

Gjatë inagurimit të fillimit të punimeve për ndërtimin e një rruge në Zall Herr, Meta i ka  folur me elozhe për punën e  kryebashkiakut të Tiranës.

Madje ai e ka e vlerësuar edhe për bashkëpunimin me këshilltarët e LSI.
