Prime Minister Edi Rama today shared footage from an area in the city of Vlora, according to him, to prove the mistaken concern of some citizens that major violators of public spaces are not being punished.

Through a post on social media, Rama states that a series of seizures are being carried out for brutal violations of construction permits and that illegality is being leveled.

Rama emphasizes that a new package of measures for violators of the law on shared facilities will soon be approved.

"This video is for those who are wrongly concerned that major violators are not being punished, as well as to reiterate the fact that this building here is neither the first nor the last to be razed for illegality, while other seizure processes are taking place in Vlora and beyond, for brutal violations of building permits. At the same time, the new package of measures that we will soon adopt will be a clear message to everyone, those who violate the law by harming the common environment, as well as those who turn a blind eye to violators," Rama said. /CNA
