"He acts with primitive instincts and dark means"/

Democratic MP, Belind Këlliçi, shared today a position regarding Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements on the protest and the impact of the algorithm.

Through a post on Facebook, Këlliçi describes the attack on protesters by any means possible as a shameful act.

According to the MP, these public positions are steps backwards in many democratic standards and norms and in terms of freedom of expression in Albania.

Further, the democrat accuses Prime Minister Edi Rama of attempting to intervene and control this issue throughout the public sphere.

Këlliçi adds that the 42 days of civic protest have led to a complete political transformation of the prime minister.

Full post:

Internet policing as an indicator of Edi Rama's final transformation!

If we were a normal country, there would be an investigation into several businessmen, clients and friends of Edi Rama, who have received favors from the government, assets and public property and in return secure votes with money or pressure, and when the boss needs it, they buy tickets in bulk and attack the protesters with every means they can.

Yes, we are in such an abnormal situation that the police are investigating people who make unpopular comments online about this type of businessmen. And to stage this shameful act, the country's Chief of Police himself comes out, the one who should serve the citizens and be their guarantor.

The chief police officer appears as the whip of the oligarchs. Edi Rama certainly wastes no time in showing that he is behind this order. He also comes out publicly and demands this type of internet policing.

Just as public positions, these are steps backwards in many democratic standards and norms and in terms of freedom of expression.

Imagine for a moment that Edi Rama extended this type of police intervention to, for example, book, cinema, architecture, theater reviews. And investigated all those who don't speak well of his friends, his favorite authors.

If Edi Rama sets foot in this space, he will then attempt to impose complete editorial control, and censorship, across the entire public sphere.

What a difference it would be from the dictatorship we left behind 36 years ago. It's up to people to have the space and freedom to express their criticisms only within the walls of their homes.

Be careful there too, because your neighbor is a patronizer and will cause trouble for the state.

After 42 days of protests, the ruler of Tirana has been transformed. He no longer understands logic but acts on primitive instincts to protect his seat and privileges, fearing what awaits him when he can no longer obstruct justice.

Edi Rama is fighting with the darkest and most repressive means against those who, with A4-sized letters, managed to throw tens of millions of euros of propaganda into the ground.

By doing so, he looks even uglier every day in front of the courageous young people who have no intention of leaving the square without him resigning. /CNA
