Following the tour for membership in the Socialist Party, the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, targeted the opposition.

Veliaj said that the opposition goes to DP only because they are angry with someone and not because of passion.

He stated that for this reason the things that the DP does last a little and have no future, while he claimed that the opposite happens with the socialists.

"Unlike the other party, when you ask them why they are Democrats, they say that one of the reasons why they are part of that party is that they have a grudge against someone. I believe that things that are done with anger are things that last for a while and have no future. The point is how to do things with passion. We are not united because we hate others, we are united because we have passion for ourselves, for our family, for our village. We must have a debate with these opponents to see who does work, who promises, who keeps their promises, who carries out their missions to the end and who is there to hinder. We have not come together because we have a grudge, or because we have to beat them. We have gathered because we believe in these values ??and we must win this battle every day, for ourselves, for our family and for our entire community", underlined Veliaj.

According to the mayor, there is no polling station that the Socialist Party cannot win. He said that the most healthy part of society is approaching the SP, calling this a great compliment to this political force.

"In PS we have an inexhaustible source of energy. I firmly believe that there is no polling station that we cannot win. They may have polling stations they can never reach. Have you noticed, for example, that everyone who joins us is brilliant, with all ten? Have you noticed that all high school presidents are members of the SP? This is a very big compliment for SP because it means that the healthier part of society is approaching", he emphasized./ CNA
