Mazniku reveals the municipality/ Who has benefited the most funding from the EU

The Minister of State for Local Government, Arbjan Mazniku, has revealed the municipality that has benefited from the most funding from the European Union with projects.

Manziku said that the municipality with the most EU funding is Berat, followed by Tirana, Përmeti and Gjirokastra.

He made this listing in the 2023 database.

"The first is Berat, because the mayor had a special focus. Then comes Tirana. In terms of financial volume, Berati, Tirana, Përmeti, Gjirokastra, etc. This is based on total active funds for 2023.

Berat is the first in number of projects, followed by Gjirokastra. Then comes Shkodra, Elbasan. The focus of the municipality and works on that objective. Przemy?l is a small municipality and has a successful number. It was a focus of Përmet who had a good office that managed it. 40 million euros was the fund for 2023.
