Prime Minister Edi Rama invited these two democrats to join the Socialist Party during a meeting with the structures in Shkodër.

The vice president of the Democratic Party, Gazment Bardhi, responded sharply to Rama's invitation.

Through a status on social networks, Bardhi says that before asking to take the democrats, the head of the government must stop the mass flight of Albanians.

He emphasizes that the Democrats are determined to fight against Rama to overthrow his power.

"Edi Rama must close the door and the window so that the massive abandonment that honest socialists are doing, who cannot accept 11 years of bad governance and corruption, the departure of young people from the country or the growing poverty, will not continue.
