Rama: Albanians flee when they look up

In the conference with journalists in Shkodër, Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke about the departure of Albanians both outside the country and inside the country.

According to him, moving to the city is unstoppable as there is a need to have a better paying job.

The Prime Minister further stated that Albanians are courageous beings who want to see higher and higher.

Further, it is justified by saying that the ban on departures is not a matter for the government.

 "It should be borne in mind that yes, we have a problem with departures within the country, I am saying, but if you are looking today at the percentage of agriculture in our economy and the number of people employed in agriculture, we are and this is not positive, but we are also with a difference from the region ours. So the move to the city is unstoppable in developing countries. The need and expectation of young people to have a well-paid job is always the reason why a number of jobs that do not pay well are done with imported labor.

If you will look at the plans of developed countries like Italy, Germany, if you will look at the queue of EU countries at the door of the employment agency in the Philippines, it is a queue of war. Europe has entered a war for labor.

Regarding schools, we have discussed concentrated schools with boarding schools. We are working with 5 dormitories of vocational schools, to make them with better conditions. I have seen the dormitory in Rrëshen, which is an initiative of the church, but it is fantastic from the point of view of how it is managed. We have to get used to the fact that Albanians are leaving, because we are a free country, not a bunker. Albanians are courageous, dynamic beings who want to see higher and higher.
