Prime Minister Edi Rama inspected the works on the new Kukës bridge this Tuesday.

Rama said that the construction of this bridge is a big operation that resolves the old link connecting the two sides of the lake with the national road.

He emphasized that with the new bridge, the "bottleneck" is avoided, both in the summer season and during frosts, when there is a risk of many accidents.

"On the New Bridge of Kukës, a large public work with high engineering complexity, which provides a solution to the old link connecting the two sides of the lake with the national road, finally avoiding the "bottleneck" especially in the season of summer and accidents during frosts, as well as giving a spectacular dimension to the trip on the lake", underlined the head of the government./ CNA
