Veliaj, insults and provocations/ Is his fasting accepted?

A hadith in the holy book of the Quran, about believers who fast, says:

"Whoever does not give up false testimony (dirty speech) and acting upon it, Allah has no need of His forbidding him food and drink."

Meanwhile, a few days ago, the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, revealed that he was fasting.

But while fasting, there have been posts, insults, curses, threats, and slander against prosecutors and judges.

Erion Veliaj has been behaving in a rowdy manner towards justice officials in recent weeks, addressing them with insults and curses.

SPAK prosecutors yesterday submitted new facts in the hearing against Veliaj, several wiretaps where Veliaj ordered from his cell how to attack or pressure the prosecutor and judge in his case and his wife Ajola Xoxa.

Does God accept fasting by slandering Erion, who surprisingly, from an evangelist, proclaimed fasting during the time of Ramadan?

Berisha also wished him God's acceptance and everyone wishes him God's acceptance, and they give him advice on what to do when in fact the holy book of the Quran says it quite clearly in one of the hadiths:

“If one of you is fasting, let him not use foul language or behave badly. If someone insults him or provokes him, let him say: ‘I am fasting.’” (Bukhari and Muslim).

In fact, Erioni has been doing the opposite for weeks, cursing, insulting, intimidating, threatening, blackmailing, and exerting pressure against justice, against prosecutors, against judges, etc.

Erion Veliaj says he is fasting, but on the other hand he commits wrong actions that should be avoided during this Holy month, such as fraud, slander, lies, and attacks on others./ CNA
