Changes in the government/ New Deputy Minister of Finance appointed

The government has dismissed the Deputy Minister of Finance, Adela Xhemali, and appointed her successor to this post, Erjona Bejlerin.

The decision was taken today at the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers, in the absence of Prime Minister Edi Rama. The decision enters into force immediately, in accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution. /CNA 

The two Government appointment-dismissal decisions:

APPOINTMENT TO DUTY

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and point 2, Article 6, of Law No. 9000, dated 30.1.2003, “On the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers”, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

Ms. Erjona Bejleri is appointed Deputy Minister of Finance.

This decision shall enter into force immediately and shall be published in the "Official Gazette".

DECISION ON RELEASE FROM DUTY

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and point 2, Article 6, of Law No. 9000, dated 30.1.2003, “On the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers”, upon the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers

DECIDED:

Ms. Adela Xhemali, Deputy Minister of Finance, is relieved of this duty.

This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the "Official Gazette".
