Prime Minister Edi Rama held an election meeting in Devoll this morning. In his speech, Rama reacted harshly to the incident of a few days ago, which also involved the DP candidate in Devoll, Bledjon Nallbati.

At the beginning of his speech, Rama shared a story of his first trip to Devoll, together with his father, where he also met the great writer Dritëro Agolli.

Rama said that in Devoll, from an MP like Dritëro Agolli, there was a change to a candidate like the one from the DP, whom Rama called 'a scoundrel'.

"Devolli has brought to the Assembly a thug, of a level that I don't know in which poem of Agolli he could find a place. In the words 'headless' and 'triangle' that Dritëroi uses, he finds a complete place. How can the people of Devolli vote for a thug. You know very well who the main thug is. You know why the one from Devolli acts like a strong man. How can the bargain fall to the point that these people bring to Parliament. It seems to me the end, from Dritëro Agolli to a thug", said Rama.

In the end, Rama said that the selection of the candidate by the leadership of the Democratic Party is to blame for this.
