After several months of discussions, the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party appear to have found common ground on territorial reform.
The Special Commission for Territorial Reform has approved a common calendar for consultations with communities in all regions of the country.
Committee members will hold meetings and hearings from April 1 to May 19 to gather opinions and suggestions on the changes aimed at by the reform.
The goal is to involve all stakeholders and ensure an inclusive process, which will directly impact local administration and the quality of services for citizens.
After the consultations are completed, the Commission will begin discussions on drafting the final version of the reform, with a deadline set by the Socialists until July of this year.
This process aims to create a consolidated basis for structural changes at the territorial level, reflecting the needs of communities and the recommendations of experts./ CNA
