Elisa responds to Balla/ "I will speak bluntly"

Socialist MP, Elisa Spiropali, has responded to the head of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, regarding a statement the latter made today.

Asked about the possible adoption of a measure for Spiropal's absence from the session to vote on Belinda Balluku's immunity, Balla said that he will convene the parliamentary group to consult on the issue.

In her reaction to Balla, Spiropali says "call the group and let's have a full discussion."

Taulant, I read your public statement late.

I completely agree. If the issue requires consultation with the parliamentary group, then that is exactly what should be done without delay.

Call the group together and have a full discussion.

Collective decision-making is the strength of the SP group and the guarantee of political legitimacy. Every position that emerges from an open, frank and conscientious discussion deserves respect, regardless of the direction it takes.
