Meeting with opposition representatives/ Binaj: Fruitful, ready to meet with

The candidate for Mayor of Tirana, Florjan Binaj, held a meeting today with the coordinators of the opposition political parties.

In a statement to the media, Binaj described the meeting as fruitful and indicated that he is working with a non-partisan team on the political program.

Binaj added that he has not yet met with Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha, but is willing to meet with him.

Bindaj also shared a message for citizens to join him without any party distinction.

"The first meeting with the opposition parties and it was a fruitful meeting. The first of many others that await us. My message is that we are all together and I, as a candidate, ask that citizens join us regardless of party. This moment is very valuable. We are working with a non-partisan team to come out and present the program to the citizens. I have not spoken to Berisha again, I am ready to meet any opposition leader. I am an independent candidate and if you see it as a kind of dependence that support comes, then I am dependent on all parties", said Binaj./CNA
