"We intended to create a parliamentary group"/ Shehaj: The Opportunity

The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, said today that he considers the party's result from the May 11 parliamentary elections to be encouraging. Invited to the 'Opinion' show, Shehaj also commented on the election result.

Asked how much risk there is for any of the party's mandates, Shehaj said that anything is possible in Albania, but added that the Opportunity Party has the footage from the counting.

"Anything is possible, especially in Albania. Fortunately, we have the footage. If there was manipulation, we can see it from this. In Albania, anything can happen. The votes were not counted by the Opportunity Party, but by the counters of the SP and the DP. I don't know if the counting of the candidates' votes is on camera," said Shehaj.

Asked about the result, Shehaj said it is encouraging.

"If I compare it to the expectations that everyone else had for our party, the result was encouraging. We aimed to be a parliamentary group," Shehaj said. /CNA
