"Berisha's strategy of not letting anyone speak must end"/ Balla

The Head of the Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has made a statement to the media.

Balla stated that he hopes that Berisha's strategy of not allowing any Democratic MP to speak will end. Further, the leader of the SP group, said that his Democratic colleagues should demand the right to speak within their parliamentary group.

Balla was also asked about electoral reform, where he said that the SP is willing to implement all the recommendations of the OSCE-ODIHR reports.

Balla stated that regarding vote counters, the opposition has more trust in the CEC counters than in those appointed by them.

The leader of the socialist group invited the Democrats to approve the depoliticization of the counters.

" I am calling the last part of the session closed. I hope that colleagues from the DP parliamentary group will also seek to speak within their group. Berisha's strategy of not letting anyone speak must end."

The SP is willing to address all the recommendations of the OSCE-ODIHR reports. The last elections showed that the DP or other entities no longer have confidence in the counters they appoint themselves, but have more confidence in the counters appointed by the CEC. Then let's approve the depoliticization of the counters.

"The DP should take an example from the situation in Kosovo ," Balla declared.
