"We have a common market"/ Von der Leyen: We will remove

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, at a joint conference with Prime Minister
Edi Rama, stated that Albania is on the right track towards the EU.

Von der Leyen announced that next year all roaming fees for Albania in the European Union will be abolished.

The President of the EC stated that the Albanian economy has gained access to the European common market and a broad market has been created, where both sides benefit.

 

" Albania is on the right track towards the EU. I want to emphasize that it is a remarkable progress and a record speed. We plan to open the last group chapter this fall.

"Two years ago we launched the growth plan in the BP and your economy has gained access to our common market. You implement key reforms. We have a whole large common market, it is a "win-win" situation. Next year we will remove all roaming fees for Albania in the European Union," declared Von der Leyen.
