Urban Development Summit/ Rama: More projects are needed for Tirana and the country

The "PACT OF FREE CITIES" summit is taking place in Tirana today.

This summit aims to discuss experiences and perspectives for sustainable urban development and strengthen cooperation.

Present are numerous representatives from the largest metropolises of Europe and the world.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, on this occasion, said that more urban projects are needed for Tirana and the rest of the country.

"To provide more opportunities."

Tirana is one of Albania's top destinations.

And it has become a platform for contemporary architecture.

"These projects must be transformed from files worked on by architects into extraordinary objects," said the Prime Minister.

Rama, during his speech at this summit, also shared some moments from his years as mayor of Tirana, which coincide with the beginnings of his interest in the urban aspect of the city./ CNA
