Price increase/ Former minister, appeal to the government: Turn the steering wheel 180 degrees, because we will collide

The former Minister of Agriculture, Edmond Panariti, asks the government to review the country's economic policies.

In a post on the "Facebook" social network, he states that prices are now increasing by the hour, not by the day.

"Turn the steering wheel 180 degrees, because we will collide! Inflation in Albania is double digit! I have no doubt about that. No more 7.5%, according to the rusty clock of our statistics. Prices increase by the hour, not by the day. In the morning they are X, in the afternoon X+1", writes Panariti.

In the following, he emphasizes that Albanians are terribly feeling the decline in the strength of the lek, reducing even the purchases of daily consumption.

"Decreasing income! Everyone feels the impotence of the lek, in markets, services, obligations, loans, interests... And growing poverty! Alarming failure to meet basic needs for ever wider strata. Turn the steering wheel 180 degrees, because we will collide!", says the former minister. /CNA.al
