The Democratic Party has appealed to the KAS the decision of the Central Election Commission to leave the SP candidate for Mallakastër, Qerim Ismailaj, on the ballot.
The DP has submitted the letter, in which it requests the annulment of the decision of Ilirjan Celibas and the ban of the candidate of the SP for the post of mayor in Mallakastër.
" Repeal of decision no. 366, dated 15.04.2023 of the State Election Commissioner "Review of the request of the Democratic Party and verification of the data in the self-declaration form of the self-declaring entity Mr. Qerim Ismailaj, candidate for Mayor of Mallakastër proposed by electoral subject "Socialist Party of Albania" for the elections for local government bodies on May 14, 2023".
